END THE YEAR STRONG

So that is a thing this year. Heard it on a news broadcast and searching for it online, it is a thang.

Hearing it, gave me pause. In that stillness I considered, am I finishing strong?

My first highly critical opine was, nope.

I stood back and looked at what had 2025 had been filled with, causing me to reconsider. I have learned quite a bit of unexpected things. Like how many items I held on to just incase. In over ten years since the last time all the storage had been seriously cleaned out, never once they been used and could be let go of.

Then the promise to myself for a book release this year; not going to happen in the next twenty days. However, a story is much closer to being ready by the end of next year, or a day late, the first of 2027.

When this year started, how to finish a particular project was really a guessing game. It was  not a slam dunk, a different beast than the previous two. Most of this year was spent trying to figure out how to finish. And now as the year is ending I am working on figuring out the way in which to ‘publish’ the next book. There are more ways than when I first dreamed of becoming a writer.

Could you share with me your favorite way of reading in the comments? Help me plan to finish even stronger next year.

Thank you!
