Finish-up/Figure-out Friday

So, if you go over to the Patreon account you can see a post. (Still debating on making part of this website pay-per-view. There are a lot of things I am figuring out. We all have a lot going on right now don’t we? We, as in each of us usually have things that we are pushing off, overwhelmed with and a few that we know what to do but we are procrastinating at getting them done and then there are the joyful things we do without thinking about and it just makes us feel good.

For reasons o’many this year, every day thus far has felt very off kilter. Not sure if this is just me, or is it a more universal feeling? For years this has been my time of the year to do the deep dive clean out of storage spaces and review of what is hanging on the walls, at the windows, and general weeding of everything. Sometime in the late 1980's it occurred to me that instead of Spring Cleaning, a Fall Cleaning mean the house was ready for those holiday family gatherings. I cleaned up and out the house, starting with storage areas, which mean that all those things I that were cluttering up the house would have a storage spot to go to until I was ready to let go or move them on to their new home with someone who was in need of them.

As the weather turned towards feeling like fall, and all my reminders about cleaning things out popped up, on my electronics and in my datebook, it slowly began to start to feel more normal? Not sure that is the right word. Comfortable? Not quite so scary. My feet finally felt on solid ground.

One reason was gaining perspective on the book that has been languishing in the void between draft #? and publishing began to come into focus. Now to go about applying this- in comes that reference above about cleaning out. One reason it hasn’t been easy to work on is there is so much . . . stuff in my way. Some point in the future those details will come out. Right now, it is just me, bring you up to date on what is happening here on the blog, and website.

Now that I have brought up the website, I have to confess, I am still not sure what to do with it. Do I want to make it into something like Patreon - which I re-initiated, had it going some years ago. Strictly to sell my fiction work? The purpose of it. Hmm. Use of social media goes along with that.; there are so many sites. So there is another thing I am figuring out.

I am writing. That is the bottom line here. Writing, editing and revising. I am working.

Please bookmark this site, or one of the others, and check often. I had an email list that I sent out a newsletter erratically but hesitate to start it because maybe those who had signed up no longer are interested. That is another thing I need to make up my mind on. So to be redundant - bookmark here and check back.
