Halloween

It is time to get the goods for Halloween.

Decorations, if you are good at last minute because for me it’s too late. Once upon a time I had glow in the dark skeletons flamingos. If I ever run across some, would buy again.

Depending on how elaborate the homemade costume is we have planned ahead and made, or thrown together last minute. Sometimes the right costume was a store bought one. We’re in a phase where if I had to make one, I would need a couple of months if it wasn’t something that could be put together with what we already have.

The bags of candy to purchase is definitely a must. One year we had a lot of not so great candy left over. It was still hanging around for the following Halloween.  From that year on we never buy candy that would last past Christmas. The only question is how much to buy. Some years there are a fair number and others hardly any trick or treaters at our door.

Not sure what to plan for this year. Does anyone?
